Because all of our trailers come fully assembled, shipping rates for long range can get very expensive.  We do work with independent shippers on uShip.com, so feel free to check them out and get a quote.  Most of our trailers weigh about 250-400lbs depending on your build - and the dimensions can be seen below in the "Which Frame" FAQ.

Which Frame Should I get?

Choosing a frame isn't always about just the size of your boat.  The only part of the frame that changes between the 13ft, and 15ft models is the length of the tongue. Going with a 15ft will provide more room for accessories like Spare Tires or the Cargo Mount, as well as the extra space for your longer boats. A longer tongue also makes it a little easier to maneuver while reversing.

If storage is your concern, below is a list of the specs of each frame. The total width does not include the crossbars - which can be either 60" or 80".

13ft (KCT-1400)

    • Suggested for boats up to 16'
    • Total Length: 13'0"
    • Total Width: 4'8"
    • Tongue Length: 8'0

15ft (KCT-1600)

    • Suggested for boats up to 18'
    • Total Length: 15'0"
    • Total Width: 4'8"
    • Tongue Length: 10'0

What comes standard on a Kayak/Canoe Trailer?

  • 4.80 x 12" C Load Tires
  • 2” Class II Coupler
  • Submersible LED Taillights

  • 1200 lb Side Crank Swivel Jack
  • Galvanized Steel Uprights with Adjustable Mounting Positions
  • Galvanized Steel Crossbars with Tie Downs and Plastic Guards.

Which crossbar should I get?

Choosing your crossbar size can be based on a few factors. The first thing you want to consider is the width of your vessel - both at the center and about 3 feet from center. A main determinant will be how you decide to mount the boat to the trailer. Below is a table to help you decide which is the best option for your boat.

Plastic Guards

60" Crossbar 80" Crossbar
Max Width of Boat 30" 40"
Width 3ft from Center 24" 36"

Bunks

60" Crossbar 80" Crossbar
Max Width of Boat 32" 42"
Width 3ft from Center 32" 42"

Do the trailers come assembled?

Yes, all assembly is included and your trailer will be road-worthy when you pick it up. Please let us know if you would prefer for us to keep your trailer un-assembled for shipping purposes.

How soon can I pick up my trailer after ordering?

Depending on our supply, some trailers can be ready the same day.

Because kayaking is a seasonal sport, our demand can sometimes surpass the ability of our suppliers - and there can be a wait up to about 2 weeks for some custom builds.

If you would like a more specific time-frame, don't hesitate to give us a call. 770.560.7237

Is there a warranty?

Yes!

The frames are covered by a manufacture warranty for 5 years.  All other components are covered by a 1 year warranty - including the tires!
